Coast Guard ice breaker

Tall ship

The morning started with a Captains meeting where it was decided to stay one more day and cross paths with Carl and Ricki. They arrived earlier than we had expected as they were going to have Ricki’s girls as boat guests for a few days. After a quick round of hugs on the dock every one went different ways with a time to meet on Stan and Colleen’s boat for happy hour.

The six of us walked into town to pick up a few charts, eat some ice cream and have a little lunch. The Coast Guard had an ice breaker at the city dock open to the public for visits. We took the tour which was enjoyable and informative!

After continuing our walk we returned to the boat and enjoyed our happy hour.  A few hours later everyone was entertained by fire works on the river, close enough to watch them from the boat.

Tomorrow we will cruise to Boldt Castle then anchor out!
