On our way to breakfast Bret - Colleen - Stan - Steven |
The day started early with the six of us walking to the local restaurant for an early breakfast. There was one problem --- they were closed. The sign said they opened at but they really open at 7 they just didn’t change their sign! We returned to our boats then the restaurant for a great country breakfast!

By we were underway again for a 2 hour cruise to Clayton. The City dock is on a first come basis – with no reservations! The dock isn’t free, but does have electric and water. We’re now tied to a face dock that sits parallel to the main shipping channel 200 yards away. Every ship that passes rocks the hell out of this boat. It could be a long night.
We all visited the Antique Boat Museum today. I would highly recommend it if in the area.

Barb and I walked into town tonight and had dinner over looking the river. The setting was as beautiful as the food was good.

Tomorrow, there’s a chance that our friends Ricki and Carl, on Quest, may arrive here before we depart. We expected them today but they were held back by a broken lock on the Rideau Canal .
