Esopus Creek at anchor
We woke to heavy fog! The temperature was in the low 60s with light rain predicted.
We finished our chores and entered the river. The tide was rising which helped us move up the river at a much faster pace, while saving fuel. As we were moving north to Kingston, Barb received a call from our friends that had a change in their plans and were going to anchor out 10 miles north of Kingston.

We changed our plans and joined them in a wide spot in Esopus Creek surrounded by quaint cottages and a few little stores. By the time we got there, the three boats were anchored and rafted together so we chose a side and slipped into position and joined the raft,
