Leaving South Ferry dock |
The weather continues to be damp and overcast! The temperature is in the low 60s with light rain showers.

Quest (Carl & Ricki) and Carried Away (Bill & Joyce) left this morning for Kingston about 60 miles up the Hudson. Barb and I weren’t finished with our bucket list of things to do in New York City so we stayed in port one more day and headed for the Big Apple!
Before the day was over we had eaten hot dogs in Coney Island and walked the board walk, rode the Staten Island Ferry to and from Staten Island, visited the Guggenheim Museum and walked across Central Park! We took numerous subway rides both uptown and downtown - transferred and rode on the green, yellow, orange and gray lines as well as round trips on the Metro-North Railroad that we took into Grand Central Station from Croton-on-Hudson.

Crowd going to ferry |
Tomorrow will come early and we have work to do before catching the incoming tide for it will help push us up the Hudson to Kingston.
