Chapel at West Point |
I rented a van then drove the six of us to West Point. Once there we took a one hour bus tour. Our guide was excellent and very informative. We also made time to visit their museum before driving to FDR’s home.
FDR’s home and library was a little disappointing due to repairs being done to the library and our timing to join a tour! The grounds are impressive so will probably return next time we are in the area!

Inside Chapel |
The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) was wonderful. We had a late lunch at the Apple Pie Bakery Cafe in the Institute. We then took a guided tour that was fun and very informative. Our tour guide who was excellent was a second year student! I would highly recommend a visit to the CIA if in the neighborhood!

Tomorrow “Quest” (Carl & Ricki), “Carried Away” (Bill & Joyce) will move north with “Rickshaw” (Jim & Belinda) another looper boat. Barb and I will stay for one or more days as we haven’t finished seeing NY City!
Tomorrow we will return the rental car early before seeing our friends off from the marina. After they leave we will take a train into NY City and walk in Central Park and ride the Staten Island Ferry!
