Carried Away & Quest leaving

Moor $tuff leaving anchorage

Our friends on Quest and Carried Away weighed anchors and slipped away from our four boat raft. I rafted back to Rickshaw to make a repair to our generator and adjust one of the new shaft seals. Once the repairs were completed we got underway for a very pleasant cruise up the Hudson to Athens.

We waited for a down pour to pass and then walked the streets of Athens. Once back at our boats there was a break in the weather so it was decided to drop the dinghy on Rickshaw and go across the Hudson to Hudson, New York about a 10 minute ride.

The main street was built in the late 1800s or very early 1900s with a considerable amount of urban renewal in progress. We had an enjoyable walk in light rain then took a break for a glass of wine before returning to our boats. Burgers were cooked on Moor $tuff and consumed on Rickshaw.

Tomorrow we may move to Waterford and possibly rejoin Quest and Carried Away on the wall in Waterford, NY.
