Charleston

Our flotilla did an easy and enjoyable 30 miles to our marina in Charleston. As we approached the marina which is open to the river, the wind kicked up and we experienced a tidal effect within the marina itself. The next ten minutes were not pretty but everyone got to a dock and secured. I momentarily lost one engine which always adds a little bit of excitement to the docking process. Once restarted the process improved and we got the boat into a slip.

I continue to wait for parts for the outboard motor!

Tomorrow Barb and I will take a Gray Line tour of the city and Fort Sumter.
