St, Helena Church

We started the morning with a visit to the local cemetery at The Parish Church of St. Helena (Episcopal) that is visited by most tourists that visit Beaufort, SC. There were grave sites from the 1600s pre revolutionary war with British, Union and Confederate solders interned there.

Maxcy-Rhett House
Secession House

We fueled the boat and left port later than usual. By the time we found a location that everyone was happy with to anchor it was later in the afternoon. The weather was threatening but the approaching storm missed us. The night on the hook was pleasant and perfect for sleeping.
