Today was a low key day! The leg problem flared up again so Barb hauled me off to the Hospital to be checked out. Her diagnosis was correct so I got to spend another 4 hours in the ER room! One more major dose of antibiotics via IV then a short cab ride back to the boat! In short --- my Doctor at home strongly suggested not going to the Bahamas---and he was correct! I can just imagine the mess I’d be in if I would have gone there! I’m on the mend and expect to depart Wednesday and head north, back to Jacksonville unless there is a turn for the worse. I’ll just stay on the boat with my leg raised take meds and read!

    The best part of your ER visit was the paramedic student that started your IV! Good luck on the rest of your travels Skip and Barb! It was truly a pleasure meeting the both of you.
