In the slip in Sanford |
I am feeling a lot better at present and remain on leg watch! So far so good!
Our outboard is now in the shop to be repaired. A mechanic came to the boat this morning and carried it away! One good thing about this marina, it is a full service marina with full repair facilities. I will sure be a happy boater when I get the motor back and it starts! Gas with ethanol in it doesn’t work well in marine engines!
If the leg keeps us from moving north this is a good place to be. We are in fresh water and protected from the ocean. Only one hurricane has ever hit this marina with no loss of boats! The bad side of the story is it took seven months to repair and clear the waterways before any boat could leave the marina!
