Day 60 – Saturday, August 8, 2009

The weather is cool and beautiful today! Barb and I slept longer than usual - which is easy to do with the gentle rocking of the boat and cool crisp air filling the cabin.

John and I took a crack at removing the starter motor from the generator to no avail. We did have a few laughs in the process, but smart enough to know when to quit and seek help! It looks like he’s looking into other alternatives solutions to resolve the problem.

Later in the day we went to town had lunch, visited a bakery and purchased a couple of tools that have been lost to the bilge gremlin. Any one who has ever owned a boat knows about dropping tools into the bilge - never to be seen again!

Tomorrow we will cruise to Fenelon Falls about 15 miles away. With our present schedule we should be at the Lagoon City Marina Tuesday morning to pick up our generator parts!
