Day 59 – Friday, August 7, 2009

Well ----- we kept to our proposed schedule and arrived at the marina around 9:30 am. The marina had a mechanic that was going to look at John’s generator. After some delay (1 pm) the mechanic confirmed our diagnosis - that yes it was the starter motor and it would probably take three to four days to get it fixed due to their work load! Ten minutes later we got underway and decided to spend a couple of days in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. We are now moored at Centre Point Landing Marina which is very comfortable and friendly. It’s probably a mile from town which the owner drove us to when she saw us begin to walk. We had a delightful dinner on the patio of a great Italian restaurant. Tomorrow I am planning to give John a hand with his generator problem.
Pictures: on the way to Bobcaygeon and entering the lock in Bobcaygeon.
