arold behind but hope to see them in a few weeks on Georgian Bay. The weather was building and as the day progressed, the wind made every lock a challenge to enter and secure the boat but after seven locks and ten miles we had enough! The wind was getting a little out of control so we found a nice place to tie up, get some ice cream - and then weather out the storm.We are about 100 yards past the last lock in a canyon like setting well protected from any cross winds! This is a Parks Canada location that is safe and quiet.
