Day 54 - Sunday, August 2, 2009

We had another beautiful day, with the exception of a quick shower which didn’t amount to much. Both engines have been serviced and are ready to continue the trip Tuesday morning. I received a phone call today, from a boat store that will get our generator part and ship it to us this week!

For entertainment today we walked to the Canadian Canoe Museum. I didn’t realize that this town was once the wooden canoe building capital of Canada. I didn’t expect much when I set out but was pleasantly surprised at the quality and scope of the artifacts and their endeavor to keep the art of building wooden canoes alive.
