Today we took a taxi into Montreal to see the sites. Once there Stan’s family signed up for a Gray Line Tour……..Barb and I walked the city. Last time we were in Montreal we also took the bus tour which is a must when it’s your first time to visit here.

Other than enjoying the beautiful city we dined at an outside café with live music. Lunch was great and the setting was wonderful.

We did repeat a few stops such as the Notre-Dame Basilica, China Town and the old City with its cobble stone streets. We visited the underground shopping area and parks that are found everywhere through out the city!

Barb and I wanted to experience their subway system so we acquired a map and off we went!

They were quiet, fast and very clean. At the end of the subway line we transferred to a bus that brought us back to Lachine. After walking all day in Montreal we had to walk another half mile on our return because of taking public transportation
