Getting ready to leave Brockville

Industry along the St. Lawrence

Today was a beautiful day to cruise. The wind was on our back and the 2 mph current gave us a good push. That directly relates to better gas mileage! The price of gas at this marina is $1.43 per liter or $5.43 per gallon! “Ouch”!!!!! Hopefully the better gas mileage will offset the difference in cost.

Chrysler Park Marina is a great stop. As we entered the marina and proceeding to our assigned mooring another boat “NOMAD” hailed Barb. Marlene and Scott crossed the Gulf of Mexico with us January of 2011! It’s a small world. They came to our boat and welcomed us to Canada. We are hoping to spend a little time with them and catch up on some of our Canadian friends that we may see while in this part of the world.
