Dan and Jori’s home
Today we took in the local sites. Jori prepared a list of must see places and off we went on another road trip! First we crossed the mountain to the town of Walpole, NH - delightful and quaint! The shops are few but upscale a perfect setting for those people looking for a quiet and quaint place to retire to.

Keene town square |
We drove to the local water reservoir and dam then off to Keene an old college town with impressive 100 year old very well kept homes. The town square is filled with investment brokers and lawyer offices. This is an interesting area with low taxes and most people working - there may be a message in the way they live! Lunch was at the restaurant “The Stage Hands,” which had inside and outside tables to dine on. The food and location was good, making our dining experience unique! Later in the afternoon, we had a tour of Dan’s place of work which was informative and impressive.

Jori topped off the day with steamed mussels for an appetizer followed by crab cakes as the main course!
Another perfect day!
