HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO GRANDDAUGHTER ERIKA!

Just a little too close in McClellanville

Docked in McClellanville

We cruised 40 miles to get here. The weather was threatening for most of the trip but once again Mother Nature gave us a pass while underway.

The town has developed a waterfront where the town’s people can come and view the fishing fleet as well as a few boaters like Ricki, Carl, Barb and me.

Leaving McClellanville

Watching the weather

We had a recommendation to experience “Big Tuna” restaurant, a local hang out. The food was good and the atmosphere even better! The building was once used for receiving the catch of the day ----- right off the boat. I can just imagine what this place once smelled like but ---it was clean, rough and lots fun. The service was good, the beer cold and the price was right.

The highlight of the evening was an ice cream parlor that was delightful!

The old leg is causing a small problem again so will try to get to North Myrtle Beach tomorrow and get it looked at! Stay tuned for another chapter in the mystery of Skips leg!
