Leaving Rivers Edge Marina

St. Augustine Lighthouse

The weather continues to be perfect. A few degrees cooler would be appreciated! We cruised another 35 miles today bringing the last 12 month total to 4,942 miles!

Many years ago when I was in the U.S. Navy my home port was less then 10 miles from here located in Mayport, Florida. Today I could see a few ships in at the Navy Base when passing by.

Bridge of Lions

St. Augustine Inlet

Palm Cove Marina is a fuel and rest stop before entering Jacksonville and the St. Johns River.

Home on the ICW

Tomorrow we will head up stream by cruising south! The St. Johns River is the largest river in North America that flows north! Compared to the Nile River the St. Johns River is the second largest river in the world that flows north.

On the ICW

We are in walking distance to groceries so Barb and I will restock before we start our cruise on the St. Johns River.
