The past two days have been quiet. Every one continues to fight the love bugs! I have never experiences any thing like this before. A vacuum cleaner is the best defense to remove them.
Bug repellant is not a deterrent and if you touch them they make a big mess! The interior of the boat is bug free due to Barb’s ongoing war with them! Trust me the bugs are no match for her!
The outboard is fixed and running again. I couldn’t wait for a mechanic or repair center to get it fixed so I spent a day with bugs crawling all over me while disassembling the motor still mounted on the dinghy. It was very rewarding when I pulled the cord and it started.
Our companion boats are having canvas repairs made. A water pump is being shipped to “Lucky One” and will be installed on its arrival. Considering everything --- Life continues to be good!
Tomorrow we will watch the shuttle launch. We are probably about ten miles away from the pad --- not that far when it comes to a launch!
