Day 151 – Thursday, November 11, 2010

88° 28.909’ W
33° 31.295’ N
Columbus Marina (Day 2)
Columbus, Mississippi

Today Mr. “T” installed the water pump and we’re ready to move on. Tomorrow we will slow down and cruise at a slower speed which will get us to Panama City, Florida with sufficient time to catch our flight home for the holiday. Chris and Bruce are on a different time schedule and will push ahead on a quicker schedule as they have to make their crossing of the gulf and fly home from the Tampa area. We will rejoin them sometime and somewhere in January!

Today was a working day which is needed every so often. Barb and Chris took the courtesy car to Wal-Mart to re-supply the boat. I stayed at the marina and assisted Mr. “T” with the installation of the water pump. After he was finished I washed the boat which takes about three hours. Bruce did the same and scrubbed Boomer from bow to stern.

We are now fueled, pumped out and re-supplied which means we are good to go! The plan is to move south and anchor out tomorrow night. The word on the Ten-Tom is, with all the loopers moving south the marinas are filled to capacity and are limiting their stay to one night!

Once we get to Mobile, Alabama this problem will change and there will be plenty of space to stay.
