Day 52 - Friday, July 31, 2009

Can’t believe that this is the last day of July - time is flying by! Today was busy as we filled up and pumped out. Then we joined John & Barb on “Scoperta” and Harold & Kathi on “Sonsie of Meaford” (two other looper boats) for our cruise to Hastings. The weather was perfect as we passed through six locks logged 21 miles then tied to the wall after the last lock. We were close to the local convenience store which has 15 amp outlets available to boaters for free. We plugged in and later walked to a well known fish and chips restaurant and had the local fare.
