Moor $tuff from across the Intracoastal Waterway |
Today we stayed out of the sun. It’s hotter than hell here and heat warnings have been broadcast.
Carl and Ricki picked us up around 4 pm with their rental car as our reservations for ours got messed up. We ate at Chesapeake House restaurant that over looked a small lake with alligators and turtles swimming around. We were told that this coastal region in South Carolina has more alligators than Florida for a given area! The water in this part of the Intracoastal Waterway is fresh water.
Alabama Theatre |
Afterwards we saw a great stage show called “ONE” at the Alabama Theatre! The theatre was built by the singing group Alabama 19 years ago. The show lasted for about three hours including the intermission. No plot just loads of wonderful music and dance with a few circus acts included. “One” is a must see if in the area! When coming out of the theatre there were fireworks going on over Barefoot Landing.
Carl and Ricki are still waiting for the replacement oil cooler. The broken one was removed today, so some progress is being made. Everyone is ready to move on and continue heading north.
