NASA verticle assembly building

Today was cooler and down right comfortable! The three boats cruised 59 miles and arrived at the marina around 4:45 to settle in for the evening. The Intracoastal Waterway has been very kind to us presenting us with flat water and little wind. The going was slow due to the manatee zones but we did see a great number of them. A few of them had little ones with then that they were nursing. The closet relative to a manatee is an elephant!

Ricki had her crock pot cooking while underway. After happy hour the six of us sat down for another home cooked meal of pot roast with all the trimmings!

Approaching Haulover Canal

Tomorrow we will all get together for breakfast – biscuits and gravy - then move our boats to Daytona Beach, Florida for a two day stay. If we can’t see everything we want to see in two days will stay longer!

Cricket, Huen’s first mate will return home as her father is having a serious health problem. With luck she will return to the boat within a week.

Along the Haulover Canal

Along the ICW

We heard a new noise coming from our starboard engine. I don’t think it’s a major problem so will take care of it after arriving in Daytona Beach. Whatever the problem, I probably have the spare part on the boat!
