Key Colony Beach, FL on Fat Deer Key

The last two days were spent with the Matthews or doing a little last minuet shopping. What a great time Barb and I have had with them their daughter Robin and cousin Barry. I think Barb could stay put in the Keys especially here! It’s going to be a tough departure tomorrow as we head for the east coast of Florida from the Keys.

We can’t leave the dock until 8:30 when the incoming tide presents us with enough water to float out of this canal! The plan is to meet Carl & Ricki at a predetermined location in the Hawk Channel then move up the Keys before crossing into the Florida Bay. Once in the Bay we will rejoin the Intracoastal Waterway.
