The weather continues to be perfect in the low 80s with blue skies and low humidity. Barb and I have received many photos of the blizzard back home………….we are so lucky to be here at this time
Today started out cloaked in fog that burned off quickly under the hot Florida sun. The morning was spent cleaning sea strainers, flushing both engines with fresh water and doing general maintenance on the boat. Barb kept busy with laundry and her list of chores that had to get done.
After lunch, Cathy & Jim, Barb & John, Barb & I drove to Sanibel Island to visit a Shell Museum . I never realized how many different types of shells there are! We all took another van ride to a local strip mall for the ladies could shop and the men could get out of the hot sun and get refreshed. From there we located a very nice Chinese restaurant named - Sakura Chinatown. I must say we selected a good restaurant for dinner! Before selecting this restaurant we had driven to four others that we rejected.
The day was closed out with a night cap on Cathy and Jim’s boat before returning to our floating home away from home.
