First and foremost – HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY – to our granddaughter Shannon!
Today it rained so hard that a bucket that I left outside collected a few inches of water in as many hours! Not to dwell on the weather but today was not a pleasant day to be outside!
Ricki and Barb took the car to Panama City and did a little shopping more to get away from the boat than to purchase something.
I ordered a new chart plotter a few days back which arrived today. Rain or shine I have something to do tomorrow!!!!
Carl and I did a lot of nothing while waiting for the ladies to return. Dinner was at the marina restaurant called the “Dockside Café” which was very convenient. With heavy rain squalls passing through, it was tricky to get into and out of the café and return to our boat dry.
For dinner we were joined by a Laura and Bill new to the grand art of looping! They’re in the process of shaking down their 1985, 52 foot trawler and learning all of her idiosyncrasies! She’s a grand lady that will give them a lot of pleasure. She was built with teak decks and a truck load of bright work to care fore!
