Barb is feeling better and the weather improving – two good signs that we will get under way in a couple of days.

Chris and Bruce departed for home for a quick doctor’s appointment. They will return late Friday and head up stream to join us before we turn south and head for the Gulf.

With the weather getting colder every day I don’t think we will get as far upriver as we planned. Florida is really looking good at this point as I’m ready for some heat!

We drove into Rogersville and Florence today with Stan and Colleen to do a little shopping and introduce them to the Bunyan’s Bar-b-Que we had found a few days before. There were a couple of small tables inside so we didn’t have to eat in the car. Rain or shine the people are just lined up and purchased BBQ.

Greg and Leslie invited Barb and I for homemade Pizza on their boat which was excellent! I furnished a bottle of red wine to compliment her meal and finish off a perfect day.
