Hancock, Michigan
The cruise was a little rough today, (pic on left is of Eagle Harbor along the way) and after six hours of bouncing around we are all exhausted. (Pic on right is entrance into Keweenaw Waterway) The difference in water temperature between Copper Harbor and Hancock is 15° which is a major difference. I left Copper Harbor in long pants with socks and shoes and after arriving changed into shorts and bare feet! This is a tough marina to get into because the slips are 90° to a flowing river. The good thing about this marina is gas is 65 cents cheaper than Copper Harbor. When you put in 160 or so gallons it starts adding up. Tonight we are going to turn in early and get some rest. Tomorrow we will see the towns of Houghton and Hancock Michigan.
